Helping Hand: Part 1

17:00

Last July 17th, my class went out for our Ka-GK/Ka-Ancop. It's the outreach program for the Grade 10 students in my school. So what did we do? We helped paint the house for the people residing there, and helped in transferring soil for the foundation of the other houses.

P.S. I have over 200+ photos and I'll just choose some. I'm going to make a documentary film as well, but that will be posted soon.

I was the only girl in that jeepney and I swear, it wasn't even awkward. I was with 20 boys!

Those were some of the boys I sat with when we came there. I think the main reason why I ended up with the boys is because of Matthew (the guy wearing brown). My classmate told me that our adviser said I should come with the boys and sit beside Matthew. I basically translated everything but dang, I wish I could've talked to him more.

That's Peter on the left, he's from Seattle. And that's Matthew, he's from Ohio. I heard they are cousins and the reason why they're here is because their grandma is an alumni in our school. How cool is that?

he can solve that reaaaally fast.

That was during our orientation, before going to work.

We were actually two classes, and here are some of the guys from the other class.

We were group with 3 members each, and I came with Kylah and Kailin. They were my classmates and bestfriends in sophomore year and the fact that we're classmates again makes me happy.

This is the family that we got assigned into. They were very welcoming and kind!

That's Kevin! Isn't he the cutest?

I got to roam around, and took some photos before we got to work.

That's Ate Maicon, our guidance counselor and the lady at the back is Ms. Mercy, my teacher in accounting class.

There was a small store there.

I went to other families, too. Here are some photos.

Now off to the work itself!!

that's basically me, looking stupid, because someone accidentally closed the door and we were painting it.

Painted hands! I got a massive paint stain on my arm and fortunately, the guy in charged there removed it but the one on my jogging pants was not removed. :(
My amazing classmates! Haha!

We came back to the house since it was our recess time.

Sorry for these photos. haha!

I'll end my post for now, since this is too much. Haha! Part 2 will be up too! :)
