BONJOUR

"look at the stars, look how they shine for you..."

says the hit Coldplay song, Yellow.

I have always been fascinated with everything that lurks outside the Earth - the outer space. 

I love stars; yes, I sound like a kid while saying that but I have always had a thing for stars.

From glow in the dark stars to taking actual photographs of them, my childhood dream has been definitely fulfilled. 

If you have been reading my blog for a few years already, you will know that I have been dreading for a DSLR camera and a month ago, I finally got one! It was a nice gift from my parents since I turned eighteen already.

Taking photos of the stars has always been my dream and now, I am learning how to do it!

Here are some photos that I was able to take a few weeks back, when the night sky finally decided to clear up.

I am excited to take more photos of the night sky - I want to capture a kaleidoscope of colors that our sky has to offer. I am still learning so I would gladly receive comments and suggestions. I want to get better at this, haha.

I want to try taking photos of people so here's a starter. She's my thirteen year-old sister; yes, I have a sister! Also, I'm experimenting with how I post process my photos. Tell me what you think about them! I would gladly hear your comments. :D

It's been a month - a month full of procrastination in blogging. I always get ideas and what not but feel lazy to do so. If you visit this place from time to time, I'm sorry. But enough with the lame excuses, what's important now is that I'm back.

What has been up since the last time I posted?

I know I've promised this before, but I really want to try to accomplish a goal every week, and that is being able to post something here. Maybe the upcoming posts would be just snippets of my week, art, or photographs. I don't know, really. But I'm hoping I'll be able to do it. 

How's your school time so far? And for the others, how's your summer?

I was the only girl in that jeepney and I swear, it wasn't even awkward. I was with 20 boys!

Those were some of the boys I sat with when we came there. I think the main reason why I ended up with the boys is because of Matthew (the guy wearing brown). My classmate told me that our adviser said I should come with the boys and sit beside Matthew. I basically translated everything but dang, I wish I could've talked to him more.

That's Peter on the left, he's from Seattle. And that's Matthew, he's from Ohio. I heard they are cousins and the reason why they're here is because their grandma is an alumni in our school. How cool is that?

That was during our orientation, before going to work. 

We were actually two classes, and here are some of the guys from the other class.

We were group with 3 members each, and I came with Kylah and Kailin. They were my classmates and bestfriends in sophomore year and the fact that we're classmates again makes me happy.

This is the family that we got assigned into. They were very welcoming and kind!

I got to roam around, and took some photos before we got to work.

There was a small store there.
